An advocate named Amritpal Singh Khalsa filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking action against Hindi film actor Shah Rukh Khan and producers of the film ‘Zero’ for hurting the sentiments of the Sikh community.

The petitioner wants the HC to take action against SRK and the film’s producers Gauri Khan and Karuna Badwal, director Aanand L Rai and several others. The plea takes objection to a scene in the film’s trailer in which SRK is seen with a ‘kirpan’ in gatra tied diagonally across his body. The petition will come up for hearing on November 19.
