Review

The movie director Aravind Sastry has brought forth an interesting amalgamation of fractured souls living absurd lives in the city. The romantic drug peddler falls in love with the confused and ambitious dancer and on the other side, there is a spoilt brat, whose psychopathic tendencies and absurd actions make for a polar extreme. And then there is an aspiring writer who is dealing with road humps in her married life as well as the story she aspires to write.

Kahi is a romantic thriller based written and directed by Arvind Sastry and produced by Rekha Venkatesh and Nagasheela Prakash. Harisharva, Suraj Gowda,Krishi Thapanda and Matangi Prasan have acted in supreme roles in Kahi. Meanwhile Midhun Mukundan’s music score, which is as good as another protagonist of the film, defining different moments of the film.

The movie manages to entertain us, but the songs, romance and has usual fight scenes. Kahi, instead, brings forth the darker side of human nature, but narrates it in a rather everyday manner after all who isn’t flawed. The narrative that Arvind has chosen is paced at different momentum in different parts of the film, which makes it the film’s USP.

The background scores are good and the editing part which was made is the pillars for the thriller movie. The other standout performer is debutant Harisharva, who has managed to portray Hari with just the right balance, without going over the top in crucial scenes. Mathangi Prasan and Krishi Thapanda essay their parts well, while Aravind Iyer shines as the don Ravi. The entire cast have acted well and have done justice to their roles excellently.

Overall, Interconnecting lives provides Entertainment
