The numero uno music director of Telugu film industry today, Devi Sri Prasad, is struggling to provide good music to films. He is in fact scoring only mediocre and forgettable music and most of the time he is repeating old music.
Take the case of ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’. Thanks to his mediocre music the film bombed at the BO. DSP’s background score for Vikram’s ‘Saamy’ is equally forgettable. With the result, netizens are trolling DSP for providing stale music for ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ teaser.
Meanwhile, Konidala Ram Charan Tej, who is working with Boyapati in VVR, wanted DSP to mark the director’s emotions in the upcoming film. But, DSP was unable to give a lift the teaser with his composition. In fact, he used the same template music that he experimented in ‘Janata Garage’ and ‘Srimanthudu’. Now, Cherry is a worried man. His fans are also worried about the songs of VVR. Boyapati’s films generally don’t have great story or strong emotions and good comedy and that is why a film like VVR will need great. So everything depends on DSP’s music and songs to help the film to stand up to the competition during the oncoming Sankranti.
