Director SS Rajamouli’s big budget and multi-starrer ‘RRR’ began its regular shoot on this morning. The movie, which is said to have a budget of Rs 300 crore, is now being canned at massive sets erected at an aluminum factory in Kondapur in Hyderabad.
Tweeting on the movie, Rajamouli said, “RRR starts rolling today,#RRRShootBegins,” and shared a photograph of himself with the film’s heroes NTR Jr and Ram Charan at the location. The two actors, who earlier acted in previous Rajamouli’s movies, are sharing screen space as young men and are pitted against each other. It may be recalled that Rajamouli is back to the sets after a gap of two years after directing ‘Baahubali 2’ in December 2016.
Sources close to the film’s production house, NTR Jr is said to have undergone physical training for this role while Ram Charan has had a changeover of hairstyle. DVV Danayya is producing this film, and there are speculations that “RRR” is said to be known as ‘Rama Ravana Rajyam’.
