Baahubali and Nene Raju, Nene Mantri actor Rana Daggubati is on a new mission. He has taken a view to bridge the gap between national, regional language cinemas and put them on the same platform. He wants to do this as a member of the Board of Trustees at the 20th edition of Jio MAMI Mumbai festival.
‘The Yaari No 1′ further said some of the best Indian movies are made in regional language cinema industries like Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu. “It will be my focus to make such work get noticed on a national platform,’ he added.
Meanwhile, rumours state that Rana’s role of Andhra Pradesh Cnief Minister and late NTR’s son-in-law in ‘NTR – Mahanayakudu’ could be confined to just one scene. We’ll come to know of the truth on January 24 when the Nandamuri Balakrishna-Krish Jagarlamudi biopic hits the screens.
