Stunt Silva is the most happening Stunt Choreographer in both Tamil and Telugu Cinemas. Stunt Silva was a former assistant to the Stunt Choreographer Peter Hein. He assisted him for films like Run in 2002 & Thirumalai in 2003. Later Silva has helped Superstar Rajinikanth to perform elevating stunts for the film Sivaji in 2007.
Silva was even interested in acting all the time. He acted in Telugu films like 7/G Brundavan Colony, Chatrapathi, Ashok and Bommarillu. Later after working as an assistant stunt man for several films in Telugu and Tamil it was the great director SS Rajamouli who has given Silva an opportunity to work as the stunt director of his fantasy film Yamadonga in 2007.
Silvas’s work as the stunt director for the film has brought him many appreciations. From then Silva’s career has took a big turn he has since gone on to work for more than one hundred Indian films as the Lead Stunt Director. Silva has worked with many leading Filmmakers in South India. He has reached heights in his career through his work on prestigious film projects.
Even after achieving huge success as the Stunt Director, Stunt Silva’s passion on acting is still strongly alive in him. He portrayed the role of a gangster in Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal (2015) and was also revealed to be playing a leading role in the sports film, Brazil which began production in 2014.
And now the prominent Stunt Director is turning as Hero in a Tamil Film Vettaiyan. The film is helmed by Vincent Selva in which Stunt Silva will be seen as a tribal man and Newbie Neha is roped in for the female lead role. Accordingly, Achu is scoring the music for the film while Venkatesh is handling the camera. Even Antony is being roped in as the editor and Selvabharathi to pen the dialogues. The film holds very good technicians so let’s hope that Stunt Silva marks a tremendous debut as the lead actor in Vettaiyan.
