Prominent Telugu film producer D Siva Prasad Reddy died early this morning at Apollo hospital in Chennai. He was 62. He was suffering from a heart related ailment for a while. Siva Prasad Reddy was the founder of Kamakshi Movies banner in 1985 and produced innumerable hit movies.
Siva Prasad Reddy had produced movies like Karthika Pournami, Sravana Sandhya, Vikki Dada, Mutha Mesthri, Allari Alludu, Auto Driver, Seetharama Raju, Edhuruleni Manishi, Nenunnaanu, Boss, King, Kedi, Ragada, Dhada and Greekudu Veerudu. He was a close friend of Akkineni Nagarjuna. As a result, Reddy bankrolled several movies of hero Nagarjuna. Several film industry bigwigs paid their last respects to Siva Prasad Reddy.
